Mom always says ....

When it comes to the competition I have realized that I cannot compare myself to anyone. It is up to me to be all that I can be and follow my instincts as how to win the loyalty of clients/potential clients. I will be friendly, positive, and always follow through but I plan to add a level of self expectation that will hopefully help me grow into a more successful Rep that can keep her "Game On" during these uncertain times.
As my beautiful Mom always says ......
"If it is to be it is up to me"

Make it your greatest day.

The Matriarch ~ Mom

When it comes to the competition I have realized that I cannot compare myself to anyone. It is up to me to be all that I can be and follow my instincts as how to win the loyalty of clients/potential clients. I will be friendly, positive, and always follow through but I plan to add a level of self expectation that will hopefully help me grow into a more successful Rep that can keep her "Game On" during these uncertain times.
As my beautiful Mom always says: If it is to be it is up to me :)

Make it your greatest day.

Our Deepest Fear

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and famous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in all of us. And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
Used by Nelson Mandela in his 1994 inaugural speech

Inner Beauty

"Every woman knows that they may not be what most would call classically beautiful. What we sometimes forget that is the secret of inner beauty that can be just as captivating as the external appearance. Bright eyes that flicker, smiles that warm your heart and the radiant glow that surrounds them when they walk into the room are part of mastering the secret of creating inner beauty. When a woman has mastered the secret art of inner beauty they can fill a room with a welcoming glow. The best part of inner beauty is the fact that unlike our outward appearance, inner beauty does not wrinkle, gray or diminish with age. It only radiates stronger as you cultivate it." ~ Dr. Carla Goddard, a contemporary Shaman Medicine Woman

Finances

Finances: Necessary but troublesome. When it's bill paying time, create an atmosphere conducive to feeling calm and clear headed.
Let's face it ~ it's stressful! Try these tips.....
1. Organize you bills. Give them their own space, a trendy box for your desk or a hanging folder that matches your interior.
2. Create an excel spread sheet that list your account numbers, passwords, average amount due, address - phone - due date.
3. Pay bills twice a month. Sit down and go over your financial status in two sessions. Focus only on what's due in that half.
4. Keep a checkbook register. If you use debit card or checks, keep track by balancing your check book at least once a month.
5. Atmosphere: Keep it light. Turn off the TV. Play calming music, sip tea and basically treat yourself with care so the stress is eliminated as much as possible.
Finally: keep the vision that your future will be all that you want it to be. This is just a milestone that we are all going through together♥

Friday

Friday: Finish projects, wash the jeans, find the boots, pack the camera, buy some bread-cheese-wine, anticipate the weekend and the rest it brings. Living Life starting NOW.

Words from Coco

“My life didn't please me, so I created my life.”
― Coco Chanel

The Power!

The Power! Our minds are so amazing, we filter the situations around us then sort, label and file each incident in our sub-conscience memory. We also attach a level of importance to each circumstance ~ ~ this is where we make the choice of how much power we give others.
For instance: Someone said that the dress you are wearing would be better suited for your teenage daughter - this is still eating you up a year later - too much power♥
Affirmation: I hold the key to my happiness. I and only I decide to what degree I attach "power" to all situations in my life. I choose to let go of the negativity and relish the positive. Life is mine for the Living.

Rest

Rest: the sweet time of night when your head hits the pillow and you thank the good lord for another day of life, love, friendships and family. It's the very essence of "Living Life to the Fullest" Sleep tight Dolls!

Quiet Time

Quiet Time. In this busy life we often forget to take a mental break. There are many ways to do this, meditation - reflection - prayer - affirmations - all recollections of your mind and heart♥
Thought: Giving yourself the gift of quiet time will help you stay centered throughout your day, week ~ life.
Affirmation: I am in charge of my schedule and my being. It is up to me to nurture my inner-self which will enable me to discover the essence of my being.

Organization

Work: Organization is the key to all. The month of January was created for it!!
It brings a fresh start, new outlook, renewed faith.
Affirmation: I will routinely spend 15 minutes every a day contemplating my goals, hopes and dreams. I will conscientiously move toward achieving the things I want to see happen in my life.

Thinking back to move forward

Looking back on a tough year for many of us, doesn't it seem as if it really wasn't that bad after all? If we take that knowledge into this new year ~ with the realization that we are standing stronger than ever ~ it's certain to be a magnificent 2012.
Affirmation: I will stand strong in hard times and I will rejoice in the good times. I will never forget how I became the woman I am today. Bring it on 2012.

Friendship

Friendship: the comfort, the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words, comfort, trust, and sincerity.
Thought: wouldn't life be grand if all our friendships were unconditional? What would the global affect be if each of us worked harder at being a true friend?
Affirmation: as I walk with the people, I will remember that I am a true friend to all and I follow the guidelines of the definition of friendship.

Sharing your home

Thought: Sharing your home with adult or almost adult children
What a hard thing to do, especially when they are transforming from teen to adult. We continue to make sure they eat, get to work, college, Dr./Dentist and so on. They, on the other hand tend to resent parent interference of their "own" life except (of course) when they need something specific like money.
Problem: Blending the two extremes ~ independence and dependent.
Question: How do we blend the two so the we can continue to LOVE our children but create a livable atmosphere in the home???
What has worked for you?? Please Post.

Holiday

Warm Holiday Thought: Sitting by the fire drinking a hot cup of tea, remembering my childhood ~ as pleasant as can be. I remember Dad struggling to build a bike. I remember Mom making fudge..something that I like. My brothers and sister filled with glee, while I wonder what Santa will bring for me. The times were good even though we were poor ~ we had no idea that we needed more ♥Cyn♥

Uncertainty

Just a thought: Feeling uncertain or insecure during this holiday season? It's not uncommon. We are running full speed as we try to end this year on a positive note. We have people to please, gifts to buy, traditions to uphold and don't forget all the time and effort that goes into creating the "perfect" holiday♥ Just to add a bit of stress, most of us have a tighter budget than in the past.
*♥* Breath. Smile. Hug. Laugh. Remember to give yourself permission to enjoy.

Conscience Christmas

Conscience Christmas: While out among the masses this weekend trying to find gifts within the budget, it was noticed that the clerks were cheerful and helpful this year, (more so than past holidays).
Thought: We have lived as a community through hard times for the past several years and now that many of us have "survived" the shock, we have a new respect for our lives and the lives of others.
Affirmation: I will walk conscientiously through this holiday season with love and respect for all.

Relationship

“My primary relationship is with myself - all others are mirrors of it. When I love myself I can love others fully."

Mix it up - Make it meaningful!

Mix it UP ~ Make it MEANINGFUL!
Community:I'm a reflection of the community. ~Tupac Shakur
Thought: Have you been "sleepwalking" through your community lately? Do you know who lives on your block, owns your local stores or serves you at your neighborhood coffee stand?
Have you returned their smile and thanked them lately?
Affirmation: I am the reflection of my community. I owe it to myself and to those around me to participate. I recognize those that serve me and I in turn serve them with encouragement and gratitude.

Play a little

Thought: Play a little. When life is uncertain, we tend to let others (bosses, sig others, friends, children, parents and even our pets), take over and run our lives. When this happens, we end up living a dutiful life and as we look back we can't remember what we have done for the last 10 years♥
Affirmation: This is my weekend . Starting today, I will make a list of my favorite things to do and intertwine them into my regular routine of life.
Mix it up and Make it Memorable!
