Thought: Women today remain in the role of taking care of the home ~ but the picture has changed greatly. Instead of tucking in, baking brownies, sewing and cleaning, we are earning the money, while raising the kids, cooking, cleaning, doing the repair work on the home, mowing the lawn and more!
A twist: millions of women do this without a husband.
Affirmation: I am strong enough to handle my situation with pride and self confidence. Life is what you make of it and I refuse to let it make me less of a woman than I can be.
