Linda Devine had worked as a
mortgage professional for 13 years when she was hit by the economy in 2011
which left her in layoff status. She was disappointed but knew one thing~ she
was never going back. There she was, out of work and wondering how she was
going to:
Live her Life to the Fullest.
One afternoon while she and
her daughters were out doing something she enjoyed called “picken”, (a term for
shopping garage, thrift, and estate sales), it came to her –
Rene Shea Fashion.
The idea became reality so
quickly that it seemed magical. The name, Rene and Shea, are actually the
middle names of her two daughters. The logo was created and designed by her
Grandmother in 1932. It was that same magic that brought the location to her on
St Helens Ave.
It was like this plan had been waiting
for her all along ~ she just had to see it.
What makes Rene Shea Fashion
unique? Linda. Even though this has been
one of her biggest life challenges, she has come through it with a total
forward thinking business. She has a page on Facebook, (http://www.facebook.com/ReneSheaFashion) that displays her inventory, but the most helpful
to the working woman would be the way she takes care of her clients. When you
stop in for a visit at the store she will find out about your style, sizes and
upcoming events and will look for items just to fit your profile. She will contact you through email or
facebook and send you photos or video of what she has found for you. Talk about being catered to!
Linda has thought of
everything. Virtual shopping, Ebay, Etsy
and Craigslist sales, as well as how to take care of her customer base. If you are thinking of becoming an
entrepreneur ~ I suggest you take a trip to downtown Tacoma
and visit Rene Shea Fashion. Meet a
woman that has once again proved that we can have it all. You just need to
believe in yourself enough to take the leap into …
Living Life to the Fullest ♥
